With Ryan Dungey and Dean Wilson both out with injuries, Marvin Musquin had the entire Redbull KTM semi all to himself and flew the flag for the team at round five of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series. Having success here in the past, Musquin hopes to possibly grab his first 450 mx win of his career. The first corner at Muddy Creek is quite unique compared to the rest of the tracks on the circuit. The steep up hill start into a tight 180 corner makes it crucial to get through without crashing. This is exactly what happened in 450 moto one for Marvin as he crashed in the first corner and start-
ed the race in 35th place. Using his creative lines to get passed riders each lap, Marvin worked all the way up to 7th place before the moto came to an end. Running lap times close to the leaders, Musquin hoped for a better start in moto two to try and put his Redbull KTM on the podium. After another hot and humid 30 min plus 2 lap race, Marvin came up just short of the podium finishing 4th in moto two. With combined 7-4 moto scores, Musquin finished the day with 5th place overall.
