MARTIN DAVALOS
Martin Davalos has been a staple in the 250 supercross class for many years now. He came to the United States by way of Ecuador several years ago. In those early years, he perfected his game down at Millsaps Training Facility in the infamous Cairo, Georgia. He consistently
improved each year and finally emerged as a title contender in 2014. That season he notched his first career wins but fell short of the title after going down with injury three rounds to go. A stint with Epstein Barr held him back in 2015 but entering this season, it was all systems go. He came out swinging with a wire-to-wire victory in Atlanta. He looked to be the man to beat but since then he has only finished on the podium once and failed to make to the race in Toronto. With his titles hopes dashed, Davalos will be racing for pride and race wins to end the season to show every body that he is still one of the guys to beat in the class.
