stadium was ready for some racing, the sun had dried the track tremendously. When 250 Heat 2 began, Tyler didn’t get the best jump and came around the first corner around 5th. He made short work of the other riders and was able to jump his way into the lead by the end of the first rhythm section. He set his focus on 6 clean laps and was able to
get it done with the victory in Heat 2. When the 250 Main began, Tyler had a similar plan and got off to a great start. He jumped into 3rd place early and rode some clean laps. On lap three, Bowers began to feel some pressure from Davalos, who eventually passed him on the outside through the first whoop section. Tyler felt the pressure again on lap 5 from the #6 of Martin, who would slip by him in the corner before the finish line. He now sat in the 5th position and seemed to be in survival mode. With 5 laps to go, Tyler became victim to Plessinger’s hard charge and would slip back to 6th position. Bowers was able to hold on to the 6th position, which is his second best finish of the year. He will go into next weekend with a solid building block and look to continue the improvement.

Tyler woke up to the rain in Massachusetts and knew it was going to be a tough day. He came out swinging in first practice and quickly put in the fastest time, by the end he held the 2nd fastest time, only a couple tenths of a second off of 1st. Tyler is a big boy and was able to manhandle the Kawasaki to 5th fastest by the end of the second session. By the time Gillette
