Jason Anderson has been on the verge of cracking into the two-man duel between Dungey and Roczen and he was ready to finally break through in Patriot country. He got out to a shaky start in practice qualifying sixth but the track was soupy and definitely not in prime condition. But it would dry out and be prime by race time. Anderson who has absolutely struggled with starts this season finally got out to a good start in the heat. He started out second right behind Marvin Musquin but he would quickly ride by and into the lead. From
there Anderson would cruise to the win and a great gate pick in the main event.
Another race, and another better start for Anderson. He didn’t nail the holeshot but he did quickly move into third right behind Dungey and Roczen. Before he could assemble an assault on the top two, he was passed by a fired up Eli Tomac.
Now in fourth, Anderson settled in and starting putting in some good laps.
