Having missed six of the first eight rounds so far this season, Blake Baggett has turned
his bleak season around by posting impressive finishes since returning in Daytona. Now a sophomore in the supercross class, Baggett’s freshman year was full of surprises as the Suzuki rider put together a top-5 season with one podium and boatload of consistent finishes. As mentioned in previous issues of Grit, Baggett’s butter is usually spread on the outdoor circuit’s bread, as Blake usually has a more difficult time under the lights. With such a solid season, though, the newest #4 has shown he can still mix it up inside and coming off a 5th in Indy and a 12th last weekend in St. Louis, Baggett tries to find a balance towards the front of the pack as Gillette Stadium makes its supercross debut for the second day race of the season.
