JAKE WEIMER
Turning pro in 2006, Jake Weimer has seen it all during his now ten-year career. In the beginning, he started off just as you would expect—placing outside the top-10 in his rookie 250 season—before grabbing a 250 West championship in 2010 aboard one of
Mitch Payton’s factory-built, Pro Circuit steeds. Then, after a rather impressive rookie 450 season, Weimer has experienced a decline in his early success and has struggled to make the same impact on the series since upgrading to the premier class. Now racing for RCH Suzuki, even with Tickle having returned, Weimer comes into the last three rounds with redemption on the mind. He may not be in the mix for a win, but Weimer is definitely in the hunt for a top-10 finish in the point standings and will look to Foxborough as a way to continue those hopes. The #12 pushes on in the house of Brady and Belichick, searching for ways to improve upon his recent struggles and finish the year strong before heading outdoors by the end of May.
