Vince Friese learned the track quickly in MetLife stadium and put his MotoConcepts bike into a good spot going into the races. He found his speed in the final practice and was able to come away with
a very impressive 12th fastest time. He continued his success and pulled a massive holeshot in 450 Heat 1. Unfortunately on lap 2, he hit the dirt in a corner because of a small mistake and he would go
to the Semi. In this race, he got off to a top 5 start and set his focus on qualifying for the Main. He was running 5th and started to feel a lot of pressure on the last lap by rookie Benny Bloss. Benny would eventually pass Vince but the #55 was not going to let him off that easy. Vince was able to do a signature take out move on Bloss in the last corner on the last lap and controversially punch his ticket to the Main. In the Main Event, Vince got off to a top 15 start and was determined to finish there. He slipped back a position but did his best to keep his composure as the race went on. He seemed to struggle more and more as the race went on and fell back a couple more positions. Vince would settle for 18th position in New Jersey.
