Josh Grant took his time figuring out the unique track in New Jersey. He found his speed in the final session but was only able to qualify 17th fastest. Nonetheless he showed great promise going into the night program and it was looking to be a great night of racing in MetLife stadium. When 450 Heat 2 began, Josh got off to a good jump but was shuffled back to 7th by the end of the first section. He
was able to make it up to 6th but it was not enough. Grant got a great 2nd place start in the Semi and was working hard to catch the leader. With 2 laps to go Josh made a commanding move on Weimer for the lead and went on to take the Semi win with con- fidence. Unfortunately, Josh got off to a poor start in the Main and was working as hard as he could to work his way back up. On the first lap he was running around 20th position and by lap 12, had only made his way into 18th. He gave it all he had but eventually had to settle for 16th on the night. Look for Josh to go fast next weekend in Vegas and even faster at Hangtown.
