We all know Baggett’s “Matt” Forte isn’t Supercross, but you can’t knock the young
Californian for his effort. (Pardon my pun, the Jets recently acquired the former Bears running back). Blake has the weight of the world on his shoulders; trying to live up to the hype he generated in the days of his outdoor, Pro Circuit 250 reign. And also, carrying the weight of a team that’s filled with controversy and criticism (e.g. James Stewart). With a stacked 450 field for this year’s SX championship, anyone battling for a main event slot is worthy of praise. Although Baggett has had his ups and downs, he seems to be weathering the storm and contending for weekly top tens. He looks to rally late and build momentum at the latter end of the season, hoping to generate confidence for the outdoor season.
