JAKE WEIMER
When Broc Tickle suffered an injury earlier this season, the RCH team began to search
for a replacement rider, looking to put their bike on the track, and fulfill duties to their
sponsors. After thorough brainstorming, Ricky and the boys came to the conclusion that Jake Weimer would be
the best fit, for a few reasons. One, Weimer has the speed to win championships. After claiming the 2010 250 SX Western Regional title, he spent many years beneath Ryan Villopoto at the Kawasaki tent. He’s a very knowledgeable professional, and is filled to the brim with experience in all circumstances. Another, and probably the most luring reason of signage, is that Weimer is a native of Idaho. And as many know, Idaho is an absolute staple in the production and distribution of potatoes. Well, with RCH being sponsored by Jimmy John’s, and the sandwich franchise branding their own “Jimmy Chip” collection of potato pieces, the Suzuki team thought they could eliminate the middleman, and hire Weimer instead. A two for one deal, Weimer now provides the chips for Jimmy John’s, and in return, rides for the RCH squad.
