luck on your side. After a nearly flawless weekend in Detroit for Ryan Dungey, he was dealt a devastating blow when his first place finish was stripped by the officials – bumping him back in the final standings that night.
But this is Ryan Dungey, he is a champion for a reason. As fans, haters and skeptics howled over the ruling, Dungey’s silent perseverance rang louder than them all. After a week away from the races, Dungey has had time to regroup and refocus. He came into Santa Clara bent on clawing back ground. Any frustrations from the night in Detroit are like fuel driving him to succeed – now we just wait for him to light the match.
