WELCOME TO HAYLEE
Taylor, Steelfort’s new National
Sales & Marketing Manager, who comes armed to her new role with
experience in developing and delivering successful marketing, sponsorship, sales, and communications strategies.
Haylee was Sales & Marketing Manager for Palmerston North City Council for the last almost 10 years, prior to which she had a co-ordination role at the Rugby World Cup 2011. Haylee’s CV also includes a Massey University Double Major Degree in Marketing Communications & Sport Business Management.
Also new to outdoor power is Katy Thompson, STIHL NZ’s new Retail/ Campaign Marketing Coordinator.
With skills in content creation, communication, design and customer service, Katy worked as a Covid Healthline and Welfare Advisor over 2021-2022 but also has experience in kitchen design and sales, and co-founded a design agency
covering graphic design, social media, marketing, content creation, photography, and print.
Many will want
to wish a happy retirement for Murray Walbran, CRC’s Trans-Tasman Managing Director, who will be leaving the company at the end of this calendar year.
MD for the region since 2019, Murray joined CRC way back in 1979 as Operations Manager for the New Zealand business. Seven years later, he was promoted to Managing Director and retained this executive role until 2019 when the New Zealand and Australian businesses merged, and he was appointed MD for the Region.
Bryce McGregor, CRC’s Trans-Tasman Sales Director since 2019, will be assuming the MD role on 1 January 2023, having
joined CRC New Zealand in 2017 as Commercial Manager for the NZ consumer and auto division.

personal style, and his experience across his industry qualify him to step into this role” said Walbran. “He is well-respected by his customers, he inspires his colleagues, and he embodies the company’s operating principles.”
Last but not least, David Wyatt is the new National Marketing Manager at Techtronic Industries – TTI, whose portfolio includes brands including Milwaukee, Ryobi, AEG, and more.
The former Marketing Director at Winger Motors also boasts an extensive background in media, comms, and marketing over last 20-odd years. n
