The candle in my room went out! Oh dear, She came beside
Did you see the soul, And cupped my face
Wandering in the dark? In terror was I stolen and I shut my eyes
Beautiful from afar The warmth in her
So wretched from beside like a flickering flame
She mourned and wailed by night, Ebbing my fear,
Vanished by dawn I saw her eyes
Fled at warmth So close to me
Cold was the soul So known to me
Eerie is its air Of someone dear,
Cold blood drips down Dead long ago!
From scars once fresh I saw me,
Her screams unheard and That I buried alive
her songs never sung Now with decaying scars
Shackled and chained And maggots dripping
She crippled and crawled I sought you
In the darkness of my room When I hid from you
Never did she leave Still alive and vivid in thoughts
For darkness is her home I saw you sink into me
Her faint lullabies and feeble mourns I know that
Comforted my nights ,so cold and lone You are Me.
As days went by,

In painful healings and shattering hopes 139
