But what was even more important, the Little Prince signed a proclamation banning all doctors from entering the kingdom. The Proclamation also placed all doctors who were in the kingdom in jail.
These events were noted in the Royal Journal.
You know, it seems to me that the Little Prince overreacted. But then again, I bet a lot of you overreact when you get angry. You may fuss or pout. You may even yell or fight. None of these behaviors are very smart. But to “banish all the doctors” seems particularly foolish. So I asked Buster, “Were there any problems because there were no longer any doctors?”
“What do you think?” replied Buster. “You know how sickly are these humans.” I have to agree. Humans are a sickly bunch. Coughing and sneezing with fever and headaches all of the time. Now I ask you, have you ever seen a crow with a cold? How about a dog with the flu?
Buster told me that according to the Royal Journal, many people soon became ill. Since there were no longer any doctors, even a small illness could be very bad. I told Buster that I could understand how not having any doctors could cause the kingdom to have a lot of problems.
