Buster gave a sad little laugh and said, “Getting rid of the doctors was just the beginning of the bad times.” I have to admit that Buster had my interest now, so I asked, “What happened next?” Buster looked me right in the eye and said, “The Flower Edict” and he then continued his story.
One day when walking through the royal flower garden, the Prince was stung by a bee as he picked a flower. He was enraged that something had dared to hurt him. He told himself that it was not fair that he should get stung. He was not doing anything, as he was just smelling flowers.
Hearing the screaming and carrying on, the gardener came over. Seeing what had happened, he put some lotion on the sting
and soothe the pain and apologized to the Little Prince. The Little Prince continued to fuss about how unfair it was for him to be stung.
The Gardener explained that the bee was only doing what comes naturally. It was just protecting itself and although it was unfortunate that the Prince got stung, it really was a very small pain and would go away soon.
By this time, a group from the royal court had gathered around the Prince. Among the gathering was the Court Wizard.
