This once was a great kingdom. It was a beautiful land with many people, birds, animals, trees and much more. It was considered to be one of the richest kingdoms around. The kingdom was ruled by a kind and generous king. His wife had died and he only had one child, a son, known by all as the "Little Prince".
As a very young child, the Little Prince was quite demanding, as are most young children. Of course, because he was the prince, few would stand in his way once he had decided to do something. It was noted in the Royal Journal kept by
the kingdom, that when any toy failed to perform as he liked, the Prince would become very, very angry and he would thus break it. This was common knowledge because of the enormous toy bills that were being paid by the royal treasury.
Because of an unfortunate accident to the Prince’s father, the Little Prince became the ruler of the kingdom. Things continued pretty much as usual in the kingdom for quite some time.
Then one day the Little Prince decided that he wanted ice cream and pie for lunch instead of his usual salad and sandwich. He greatly enjoyed this lunch and decided to have it again for supper. The next morning he decided to have ice cream and pie for breakfast.
