The Most Disturbing Letter the Editor Has Gotten in Twenty-Five Years
Dear Editor,
I do not know if you are aware of the cat killings
over the past few weeks in Shenandoah. One of the cats was killed and left in our front yard (near Shenandoah Elementary) almost 3 weeks ago.
When I spoke with the of cer who came to the scene of the incident at our house, he said that 2 killings had been reported and investigated in less than a week and he had heard of a third killing at that time. Supposedly, the number has increased to 7 killings at this time although I cannot con rm that information.
I would like to put something in the newsletter alerting homeowners of what’s happening so people can protect their cats. It’s possible that small dogs could become victims of these heinous crimes also Thanks for your time.
Editor’s Note - This is very scary stuff. Someone out there needs some serious help. If you have an inkling as to who may be responsible for this, please call the authorities and get them some help before something even more dreadful happens.
