Under prohibited signs, section 16.10 page 8 and 9:
10D. Signs extending into or placed within the public right-of-way other than those signs speci cally allowed.
Any sign that is attached to a utility pole, curb, sidewalk, lamppost, hydrant, bridge, highway marker, highway regulatory sign, or mailbox on public property except of cial notices or announcements. Under enforcement, page 35:
Signs on Public Property or Public Right-of-Way Any sign located on public property and/or within the public right-of-way and in violation of the provisions of this Uni ed Development Code shall be considered “litter”.
Signs that are considered “litter” by this Uni ed Development Code may be removed by any person and disposed of immediately.
No notice is required to be given to the owner of the sign before issuance of a citation for violation of this provision.
