Come Join the Fun at the SECPID Day Out Against Crime
The Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District (SECPID) will sponsor our 6th Annual Day Out Against Crime on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. on the grounds of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, located at 17510 Monitor.
This event is an offshoot of the National Night Out Against Crime program. It is intended to:
1. Heightencrimeanddrugpreventionawareness;
2. Generatesupportforandparticipationinlocalanti-crimeprograms;
3. StrengthenneighborhoodspiritandourSheriff’sOfficecommunity
partnership;
4. Sendthemessagethatthisneighborhoodisfightingbackagainst
crime.
Residents and their children are encouraged to attend. They can enjoy meeting members of the Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors of the Shenandoah Homeowners Association. Attendees will meet deputies from around the parish who will be displaying special equipment and their units.
Members of the St. George Fire Department will also be displaying one of their trucks and other equipment.
You can also enjoy a variety of free foods including hot dogs, chips, cookies, and chili, as well as jambalaya provided by St. Andrews Methodist Church and ice cream provided by Red River Bank’s unique ice cream truck; Join us for a fun, family community afternoon.
