The third of these “Ball Missers” acted differently from the first two and I found this really interesting.
The third boy said that he was also disappointed that they missed the ball. But, he said that this was their first game and the ball was hit almost over the fence.
This boy said that he was excited that they had almost caught the ball. And, with just a little more practice, they would be catching difficult fly balls and winning games.
This third boy’s behavior was so different that I decided to call him ...Glad Boy.
