I thought that the reaction of the three boys to the “missed ball” was very interesting. They all missed the same ball but they each thought, felt and acted differently.
I thought this was strange and very important. I did not realize how important until later in the game.
As each of our three “Ball Missers” came to bat, I could see that their reaction to the missed ball was going to affect them for the rest of the game.
