Finally, he became so scared that he started screaming and waving his arms. Then he took off running as fast as he could go.
He was not paying any attention to where he was running, thus he ran into trees and tripped over rocks.
What do you think happened next?
Well, all the noise and the screaming excited the entire colony of hornets. They thought that they were under attack again.
As you all know, bees can fly faster than people can run and you know what happened next. I named the second boy, “Running Boy.”
Well, well, well, not a good situation. I felt sorry for the, “Running Boy” and was thinking about how foolish he had been. Things at the hive had settled down again when I saw the third little boy walking down the same trail.
I tried to warn him about the hornets. You know, “Caw, caw, caw.” Now everyone knows that three rapid crow caws means trouble, that is, everyone except for people.
Just like the first two boys, he bumped the hornet’s hive and was stung. The first thing he did was scream and say, “Oh my, this is terrible.” He looked real scared and I was expecting him to
start running.
