Tooshy’s committee was to investigate the fact that food was now available for only about 7 to 9 months each year.
That meant that for 3 to 5 months of the year there was not food for the animals to eat. In the past, their favorite foods were available all year.
Hushup’s committee was to investigate the changes in climate. In the past, the weather had been nice all year long. Now, it was very hot for several months, then nice, then really cold, and then nice again. All the animals wanted to know how to deal with these changes in weather.
