It is interesting how you can learn to be better humans by studying other animals and insects. Of course, some of you already know that a lot of us have been around for a lot longer than you humans.
There are some of my animal and insect friends whose ancestors had to dodge dinosaur feet. You have to know a lot about getting along with each other to be around that long.
That is what this story was about, “getting along,” that is, being civil. It’s learning the rules that make it possible for us to get through each and every
day without a lot of anger, fighting, sadness and hurt feelings.
But you humans don’t come by the skill of being civil naturally. In fact, some of you have a hard time figuring out how it works.
