I have noticed that some of you humans like to say and do things that you know will cause another human to be embarrassed or upset. Some of you act as though you think it is funny to behave in such a way. I am sure that most of you now understand that the bees consider that as being uncivil.
To make fun of another does not make you any smarter or more talented. We animals know that it really makes you seem less smart and plain mean.
When asked to give an opinion about someone else, the bees do not lie but they are always constructive (that means helpful) in their comments. They tell the truth in a way that is not intended to upset the other bee.
They told the musician, That was an improvement and if you keep working on it, you will continue to improve. That was the truth and it was being civil. Sometimes others will want you to say they were good, even when they were not and that is when it gets difficult.
