Let me use an obvious example. All bees like to get nectar from flowers. Some flowers have more nectar than others.
If you are the first to get to a “lot of nectar” flower, it is yours. The other bees do not try and take it from you. In fact, they go out of their way to say things like, Good flying. You were quick today.
If the first bee finds that this flower has more nectar than he or she needs, they call out, I have a ‘lot of nectar’ flower if anyone needs more.
I am sure that you noticed how the bees were not jealous when someone else happened to get something they wanted.
