They don’t become upset when another bee makes a better grade or flies better or anything like that. The bees always tell themselves, He really worked hard to get that (grade, flower, award) and I need to tell him congratulations.
It would never occur to a bee to be angry because someone else got the flower he wanted or won the race. Becoming angry means that you are not Civil.
I am also sure you noticed how generous the bee was who got to the “lot of nectar” flower. When he drank all he wanted, he offered it to others.
