It is not easy to be a Truthful Turtle or a truthful person. You have to be responsible, kind and brave. One such turtle was Tanya Turtle. You didn’t have to worry if Tanya was being truthful or untruthful because she was always truthful. But that does not mean it was easy or fun.
You may remember Tammy and the broken egg. Remember how Tammy blamed the other two turtles for the broken egg so she would not get in trouble?
If Tanya had broken the egg, she would have found the owner of the egg and explain that she had accidentally broke their egg. She would offer to replace it with another one or something else if that is what they would like.
Tanya would be truthful and because she was truthful, she could also be responsible and kind. Her mistake in braking the egg would now become the opportunity to make a friend by offering to replace the egg. And unlike untruthful Tammy, it was also an opportunity to avoid making enemies (by blaming others). I am sure you can tell that Tanya’s truthfulness is better.
