The examples I have given you are examples that you should be able to understand. She tried to keep herself from being fussed at (for the broken egg) and she was willing to blame others to keep herself out of trouble.
Take a minute and think about how you would feel and what you would think of Tammy if you had been one of the other turtles that Tammy blamed for the broken egg.
Or, if you were the turtle with the broken egg, when you realized that Tammy was being untruthful, you might become angry. You may decide that you don’t want to have anything to do with Tammy ever again.
Unfortunately, untruthful turtles like Tammy rarely take the time to understand why others don’t like being around them. They rarely understand the hurt and anger their untruthfulness is causing. They rarely learn to take responsibility and change enough to learn to be Truthful.
