SHA 2018 Dues to Remain $30
The Shenandoah Homeowners Association dues for a calendar year (January 1 thru December 31) will remain $30 despite the fact that only a shade over 600 residents of Shenandoah Estates have paid their dues in 2017.
The SHA Board lowered our dues from $50 to $30 after the Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District took over responsibility for the security patrols. SHA used to provide those patrols. The Board voted then to pass on the savings.
SECPID has been very supportive of SHA and has taken part in a number of SHA’s safety and security related projects and events.
With YEARLY dues of only $30, the SHA dues are at the very low end of area homeowners association dues. Many HOA’s and POA’s have MONTHLY assessments that high or higher. Also, most area HOA’s have mandatory dues, the non- payment of which will result in a lein being placed against the property.
