Security Report – Tom Hirschey – Tom reported there will be 175 patrol hours in December. He stated that, effective Jan. 1, 2018, SECPID added 24 total hours per month and an additional deputy. Our Security Patrol will then have a total of 8 deputies and up to 188 patrol hours per month. The number of vacation home checks almost doubled in 2017. There is still a lot of cut-through traffic on Antioch of people who live in Prairieville. Stats will be printed in the Newswatch. Year-over-year comparisons will be posted on the SECPID website which is linked to the SHA website.
The next SECPID meeting will be held January 16, 2018 at 6:30 at the Jones Creek Library.
Architectural Report – Ken reported that a resident had asked why there are only 3 lampposts on Harpers Ferry, but there are 7 on Ft. Pulaski. After researching, Ken reported that Ft. Pulaski is almost twice as long as Harpers Ferry and required more streetlights. Ken reminded residents to go out and look at the streetlight closest to their homes. They should report any outages to DEMCO or Entergy, depending on the location,
