Page 14 - Injustice Collector
P. 14
Snakes have mastered the art of making a “complimentary injustice sphere” and use it to trick the squirrels.
This is how it works: Suppose a squirrel thinks that he or she should be the best at something ... climbing or jumping or something like that but is told that so-in-so is really better. The average squirrel will get all upset and tell himself or herself that it is “Just not fair,” or that “They
are lying,” or “Trying to hurt my feelings.”
These become injustice spheres they collect. As a consequence, this squirrel is angry and hurt at the same time. They may not be friendly to someone who says “Although you can climb very fast, so-in-so can climb faster”, because by now our average squirrel has made himself or herself very upset.
Now, along comes a snake who has a “complimentary injustice sphere.” It will go something like, “You are right, they are just lying to you and being mean to you because they are jealous of you. You are the fastest and you should be angry with them.” Now that the snake has the average squirrel’s attention and “friendship” with his “complimentary injustice sphere,” he whispers, “Come a little closer and I will tell you how to get back at them.” Well, if you know anything about snakes, you can imagine what happens. I am sorry to say that I have seen it happen over and over again.
