Give, and it will be given to you. A good
measure, pressed down, shaken together, and
running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be me-
asured to you.

The phrase “To have the best, do your best” is my motto and it
teaches a great lesson because many people wish to have the best
without giving their best shot. In reality, if you want the best in
life, you must make an effort to have it. Life is a sum zero game,
which means you get what you give, and, by the way, you get much
more.

Every good thing you do to others you will get back without
measurements. I will give you an easy to understand example: ima-
gine you find a popcorn cart and when you ask for it, the atten-
dant puts the popcorn in the bag and taps it so it can fit more.
When he hands you the bag, it is overflowing with popcorn and so
much generosity.

That is exactly what life gives you back when you do good. And
the opposite is also true, everything bad you do to others will come
around in a much greater proportion; actually, as an analysis, the
biblical passage I quoted in the beginning of this chapter highli-
ghts what I am trying to say here in a deep way.
