Purpose

This wholly unknown knot is a binding knot at least as effective as the
constrictor in all respects.

Tying #1

Using a working end, wrap and tuck as shown (figures 1–2). Tighten by tugging
on both ends, but particularly the working end which exerts an almost ratchet-

like grip upon the turns of this knot (figure 3).

Tying #2
The fact that this knot, when slid off the end of its foundation, falls apart and

vanishes means that it can also be tied in the bight (figures 4–6).
