ANNOTATION:

LDM course helps us to assess our strengths and
weaknesses. This helps us gain knowledge, skills and
mindset, which are necessary in this new normal set-

up. It helps us to ensure the quality of learning that
we will provide to our learners despite the pandemic.
At first, it’s difficult, but we need to cope up with the
changes in order to survive.

That is why, when simple touch and pat on the
back no longer motivates, touch to the heart with
encouraging statements. In addition, the weight on

the shoulders of the students and parents in
continuously adapting to the new system and norm,
might somewhat be lifted. I have realized that the
word of the year for pandemic time is “adapt”. We

were forced to change and face the new normal. We
adapted to all the detrimental effects that the
pandemic brought to us, not just in education but life
in general.
My journey as an educator during this

pandemic led me to learn; learn myself, my students
and their parents, current system and most
importantly learn about how noble and fulfilling my
job is.

These changes are opportunities for us to learn
more, and to be creative and innovative in
implementing this distance learning.
