PPE Distributed to Nassau County Dentists

In May, as the shutdown of our offices due to COVID-19 was nearing an end, the Nassau County
Dental Society was able to obtain PPE from the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management.
We rented a 20-foot truck and picked up six pallets of PPE consisting of face shields, surgical
masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Volunteers unloaded the truck and stacked the boxes at our
headquarters. Then they broke down the PPE into “kits” which were distributed, free of charge, in
our parking lot to Nassau County dentists who responded to our email to register for the event. We
thank the volunteers who made this benefit possible: Dr. Don Hills, Dr. Michael Shreck, Dr. Joe
Brofsky, Dr. Frank Palmaccio, Dr. Jay Fitzgerald, Dr. Steve Akseizer, Dr. Maureen Tredwell, Dr.
Scott Tredwell, Dr. Howard Baylarian, Dr. Meena Jaiswal, Dr. Steve Boral, Dr. Gene Porcelli, and
Mr. Brett Weiner.
