Marketing Our Members to the Public - A Member Benefit

On April 10, 2023 we began a marketing campaign for our members. Both NCDS and SCDS have partnered
to create a media campaign designed to inform the public: 1. That not all dentists are ADA Member
dentists, 2. Why they should see an ADA Member dentist, and 3. Driving them to the “Find A Dentist”
website. A thirty-second commercial will be running on NEWS 12, BRAVO, and the FOOD NETWORK
through August 13th. In addition, this commercial will be seen on mobile devices using the NEWS 12 App
throughout Nassau County and most of Suffolk. The commercial will run 989 times on television, and it is
estimated that it will have over 750,000 views online during the four-month run. For you to achieve the
greatest benefit from this campaign, make sure your “Find A Dentist” profile is up to date with your office
phone number and website. Also equally important is that you have your photo on the profile. In looking
at the “Find A Dentist” Nassau County stats, I found that the number of “Hits” our members’ profiles
received in the two months preceding this campaign varied from zero to just under 500. The one thing
ALL those with zero hits had in common was No Photo! We’ll be tracking the hits to “Find A Dentist”
during this campaign to determine if we will continue with the program once this run is concluded. We’ve
already sent out an email with the full 30 second commercial to all our members, but here are some
screenshots of it:
