President’s Corner,

Happy August 2021 to all my Arizona Paralyzed Veterans of America Brothers and
Sisters.

As we move through these summer days I will continue encouraging you all to stay
hydrated. In these summer months temperatures are increasing to unsafe levels.
Please stay hydrated and stay safe.

Arizona PVA had its elections in the month of June. The board pretty much stayed the
same however, we picked up two new board members. Here are the board members
and the positions they hold:

Gordon Moye Vice President,
John Tuzzolino Immediate Past President (IPP),
Dianne Brunswick Treasurer,
Sue Wudy Secretary,
Diego Suazo Sports Director,
Les Craddock National Director,
Richard Malena Bored of Director Member,
Nick Knapton Bored of Director Member,
Maurice Valeriano Bored of Director Member,
Joe Chitty Bored of Director Member.

Along with Peter Quinn who is the Chapter Executive Director the Chapter has three
staff who report to him. The staffs job is to make sure the day-to-day operations are
taken care of. Staff members are Dawn Quinn, Matthew Jansen and Scott Gehrke.

The Chapter is approaching the end of its fiscal year. I would like to thank the board
members for their participation on the board. I look forward to working with you all again
through the fiscal year of 2021-2022. As a Chapter we have a lot going on with the
purchase of the property located on 1001 E. Fairmont Ave. in Phoenix. But, I am sure
the Board is up for the challenge.
