complies with VA’s standards for quality based on specific conditions.
In preparation for this landmark initiative, senior VA leaders will visit more than 30
VA hospitals across the country to provide in-person support for the rollout.

TSA Won’t Grant Military Retirees, Veterans Free Precheck
Did you ever wonder how you got so lucky as
to have TSA Pre ® every time you went
through airport security? Well don’t expect that
going forward.
In an Air Force Times magazine article last
year, “Retirees, veterans and spouses are not
covered under the agreement because DoD
cannot vouch for them in the same way they
can for those currently employed by the
department. They can sign up for Precheck like
any other US resident, paying $85 for a five-
year clearance.”
