Federal Government Needs
Access to a feedback loop to learn more about matches made, types of users, mos useful
feature, and other raw data to inform Federal program eforts and ultimately track outcomes,
including employment that is initiated beyond 180 days, wage rates, and/or retention satisics.
Ability to fold in/link to exising government data eforts when they reach maturity.
Prizes
The Department of Labor, with in-kind support through participation in tesing and review from the
Departments of Defense and Veterans Afairs, is ofering a total prize pot of up to $1,000,000
awarded across four phases. The grand prize winner will be awarded up to $720,000.
Semi-Finalis Prizes (5): $20,000 each
Finalis Prizes (3): $100,000 each
Pilot Prize (1): $300,000
Grand Prize (1): $300,000
Rules
Eligibility to Participate
To be eligible to participate:
Each Competition Solver (individual, team, or legal entity) is required to regiser through email
participation in submitting the concept paper for Phase I as described in these competition
rules.
There shall be one Ofcial Representative for each Competition Entry. The Ofcial
Representative mus provide a name and email address and, by sending the frs submission in
Phase I, afrms on behalf of the Solver individual, team, or legal entity, that he or she has read
and consents to be governed by the Competition Rules.
As determined by DOL, any violation of these rules will be grounds for disqualifcation from the
Competition.
Multiple individuals and/or legal entities may collaborate as a Solver team to submit a single
entry, in which case the designated Ofcial Representative will be responsible for meeting all
entry and evaluation requirements.
Participation is subject to all U.S. Federal, sate, local, and country of residence laws and
regulations.
Solvers mus not be suspended, debarred, or otherwise excluded from doing business with the
