The Giving Group

Nine months ago, I became a member of the Giving Group of Arizona. As a
member of the Giving Group of Arizona, we are a collection of Arizonians who are
committed to donating quarterly to a local nonprofit in our community. I was one of four
people chosen in a drawing to nominate a charity and give a five minute speech about
the organization. All were great organizations nominated however we at the Arizona
Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America were selected by the Giving Group to receive
an impact award of $10,000.00 to use in our Medical Loan Closet. We are so excited
and are looking into buying a truck to pick up medical equipment, batteries for power
chairs and shower benches with our award money.
