Maricopa County Spring Update
One of the top issues veterans and military report is that they feel disconnected from their
community. The focus of VCC is to get them connected and it’s due to people like you, our
resource members, that we are making a difference. This quarter's requests have
included:
• Military/veteran caregiver resources
• Veteran benefits
• Career development
• Legal assistance
We are on the lookout for resource members in the landscaping, auto repair, and house
cleaning industry to support veteran family requests.
Sign up here or call us at 1-844-VET-CONX (1-844-838-2669). We appreciate you
referring friends and colleagues to VCC.
Caregivers in the Community
In collaboration with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, we are connecting caregivers with
support in their day-to-day lives. Check out these recent success stories:
• A Marine caregiver contacted VCC because their only family vehicle needed
repairs. VCC was able to get the vehicle assessed by a top-rated service dealership
at no cost to the family, and now VCC and the service department are working
together to allocate donated funds to support repair work for other caregivers too.
