        COVID-19 Update (as of March 3 )

            •  Acute Care converted COVID ward back to 6 from a 15-bed ward on February 7 .

            •  Established COVID-19 Treatment Clinic
                   o  Administered 55 COVID-19 treatment infusions for 41 patients. The treatment plans are
                       based on infectious disease guidelines and FDA.
            •  NAVAHCS positive COVID-19 cases for Veterans and staff continues to decrease.
            •  Continuing with the following precautions:
                   o  NAVAHCS has requested Veterans utilize VA Video Connect (VVC) for routine care
                       appointments (main campus and CBOCs). Providers will determine if a face-to-face
                       appointment is clinically necessary.
                   o  Primary Care Teams have contacted Veterans to change their face-to-face appointment
                       to a VVC appointment. Veterans can also use secure messaging through MyHealtheVet
                       or call 928-445-4860 to schedule their virtual appointment.
                   o  Masks must be worn at all times.
                   o  We are only authorizing one caregiver to accompany a Veteran on their appointment.
                   o  Nobody under the age of 18 is authorized entry to the facility.
                   o  No visitors authorized at this time, unless the patient is imminent.
                   o  The Community Living Center (CLC) is closed for all admissions.


        Inpatient Visitation Policy Update (as of March 3 ):

            •  Due to the increase of positive COVID cases in the area:
                       o  All visits must be pre-approved
                       o  Visitors must check-in with staff at their prescribed time slot
                       o  Only 1 visitor at a time and only for a limited amount of time
                       o  All visitors MUST wear a mask at all times
                       o  All visitors MUST be 18 years or older

        COVID-19 Vaccine Plan (as of March 3 )

            •  The COVID-19 vaccine is available to all Veterans. Patients in the Prescott area, please call
               928-717-7406 to schedule your appointment for the Moderna or Johnson and Johnson
               (Janssen) vaccine. For Veterans wishing to receive the vaccine at a NAVAHCS’ CBOC, call
               the CBOC for a date and time for the vaccine.
            •  Walk-ins are welcome at all NAVAHCS vaccination sites, including those under the SAVE
               Lives Act (non-enrolled Veterans, spouses and caregivers). Please call to check dates and
               times that the vaccine clinic is open.
