What’s New?

I guess the question should be, “What’s not new?”. We’re so excited to be back up and running after missing the May issue due to
the uncontrollable circumstances that apparently surround a pandemic. Like so many... we had to regroup. So... we talked with our
amazing local businesses and advertisers and came up with a solution that worked for everyone in the circle. And since we all still wanted
to stay in touch and deliver information, advertising and entertainment from one source to DCBE Membership, our solution is the giant leap
the rest of the way into the future with this interative electronic version of your DCBE LIFE Magazine, delivered to your inbox on the 1st of
every month. Not only can we bring you all the bells and whistles that the online life can provide, we’re even saving a few trees in the process.

The new software we purchased to deliver your electronic interactive magazine provides a true page flipping experience (listen for the
swoosh) and hyperlinks that further extend your shopping, service needs and entertainment interests. In your interactive electronic version,
all pages are printable for games, activities, coupons or for any reason you like, and will also be available on all mobile devices. If we
reference any really cool websites in the content for interesting adventures, videos, virtual travel or activities, just click the page and you’ll
be taken to the source website for your additional enjoyment, and many of our wonderful advertisers have links in their ads to take you
directly to their websites, Facebook page, coupons or specials, so just one click and away you’ll go.
This issue of your DCBE LIFE Magazine will include both May and June community information that is still relevant, to get you caught up.
And we will continue to develop new sections and interactive content, along with the local businesses, to offer as many ways as possible
to keep you interested and engaged and supporting our local businesses and community. Meanwhile... we hope you enjoy your new
interactive electronic version of DCBE LIFE Magazine, New Around the Bend!
And for my following that enjoys my crazy life stories, fondly referred to as, Stories of “A Life Well MisLived”... I”ll be back. I can’t imagine
that Kharma will miss the chance to have a laugh at my expense in the middle of a pandemic. So... stay safe, hug the dog, wear your
mask and make the best of “What’s New”, we may find that we’re more resilient than we ever thought and together we can rise up and be
even better versions of our best.
