All types of floating islands will refer to the following environmentally-friendly positions:

Energy

This concerns an energy-autonomous, green island, based on environmentally-friendly energy. This is fed
night and day through a pleasant noise-free wind energy system as well as through the solar plant with
daylight. Heat recovery from sea water represents the basis for heating and air-conditioning. These
properties make the island an extremely environmentally-friendly and sustainable housing and holiday
object that does not leave any permanent interventions in nature.

Water

Surplus energy is distributed over various batteries or is used for processing drinking water (drinking
water is produced from salt water). Processed water only leaves the island in a drinking water quality in

order to sustainably protect nature and to guarantee the environmental-friendliness of the Green Island.
An intelligent computer system monitors and controls the entire energy management. In order to also
guarantee the power supply and safety on such a floating island in case of increased energy consumption
or bad weather conditions, the island is equipped with two diesel generators.

Plants

The feeling to live in middle of nature is given by the variety of plants particularly in the outdoor area of
the island, which represents a firm part of each level. The optimum water supply of the plants is ensured
by a special irrigation system. Due to the possibility to have their roots extended to a greater depth, they

achieve a high lifetime.

Waste selection

The waste selection functions through a waste separation and storage system in an own, cooled waste

depot. The waste is pressed here, stored in an interim storage hygienically as well as odour-free and can
be transported away at all times.
