þ DESCRIPTION
The facilitator (and/or 2-person team) will use and apply the reading material/concepts for this assignment.
Facilitator is required to complete, present, lead, facilitate, and review the chapter’s assigned questions, e.g.,
PowerPoint®. The facilitator should be prepared to present live and if required virtually. Please refer to
assignment table in this course outline for more details.
þ Upload your PowerPoint® and any additional handout materials (if applicable) to the CANVAS® Facilitator
assignment folder prior to the start of the class session, e.g., due date/time.
þ The student facilitator(s) will share with the class how they reviewed the: 1.) Assigned reading for the day
(BRIEF overview), e.g., six key concepts from the chapter reading, and 2.) Assigned (textbook) question.
o The students should give specific examples to explain the reasons for their answers.
þ The student facilitator(s) will lead discussion and share knowledge on the chapter assignments. For example, the
student facilitator(s) should give specific examples to explain the reasons for their answers. [Note: Include the
question (on one slide) and your response (on the following slide). Your goal first is to have the class share and discuss their
responses before sharing your response.]
þ Professional business attire is required for your virtual presentations.
þ Set-up: The student facilitator must be set-up and ready to present prior to the start of class. Please upload your
PowerPoint® to CANVAS® prior to the class session.
þ Missed assignments cannot be made up. Students with a valid excuse (e.g., medical) for missing the assignment
may make-up by arrangement. Students who miss the assignment deadline without an acceptable excuse will
receive a zero.
