«COURSE DESCRIPTION«
COURSE OBJECTIVES (ELMIRA COLLEGE COURSE BULLETIN)
Brand management involves consumer perceptions of a company’s brand and is one of the key elements of a
company’s competitive posture and market success. It takes place at a strategic level and goes beyond product
marketing, into positioning a firm’s image in the marketplace and its relationships with consumers. This course
covers the essentials of brand management including brand strategy, product positioning, marketing strategy,
customer relationship management and more.
It is your instructor, Alison M. Wolfe’s primary goal in this course that it be a fun learning experience –
14 weeks of conversation on brand management.
You will all have numerous insights that you will be able to share, not only based on your own personal
experiences, but also based on the course materials you will be required to read. J
