North Al Batinah and Musandam Governorates

The service takeover of waste management started in North Al Batinah in March 2017,
through the appointed service provider, Imdad Al Batinah. The same operator commenced
its services in Musandam Governorate in early 2018. The operator distributed a total num-
ber of 30,454 bins across both Governorates. Waste collection reached an average of 566
tons of waste per day in 2018.
