Media is all around us, and young people interact with media texts on a daily basis.
This course helps you to make sense of the digital world we live in and challenges
students to question many of their assumptions about that world. The course
provides an opportunity for both practical production work and written analysis.
There is a set theme from the Exam Board for example “Advertising and
Marketing” – students will produce two cross-platform texts from across the range of
Print, E-media and Moving Image.

Print, E-media and Moving Image. Students will learn about the key concept areas of
Media Language, Media Representation, Media Industries and Media Audiences.
MEDIA STUDIES Students will also study "Issues and Debates in Media" and "Theoretical Critical
Analysis".
