ANTHONY GELL SCHOOL SIXTH FORM ROSPECTUS 2020 — 2022
The A Level course covers Pure, Statistical and Mechanical Mathematics. Three written
exams are taken for A Level. There is no coursework assessment; mock exams
throughout both years ensure that students are fully prepared for their final
assessment.
MATHS Students are required to spend at least one hour a week in the department on self
study, where they will be registered and assistance given.

YEAR PATHWAY Mathematics is also useful support to Geography and the Sciences. Mathematics is
essential if students are choosing to study Physics or Further Mathematics.
